Over the last 10 years Blue Donut Studios has developed a long-standing relationship with NHS organisations as well as academic research and clinical trials teams in the south of England. It has worked hard to provide support to NHS England services and integrates with NHS Digital. Blue Donut Studios has provided innovative digital solutions and research-driven projects. Our expertise spans gamification, digital platforms, and immersive technologies to enhance healthcare support, patient engagement, and innovation management.
Quasar is a quality surveillance system developed collaboratively by the Head of Quality and Nursing and the Quality Team at Fareham and Gosport and South-Eastern Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs). Its primary purpose is to enhance patient safety and care quality by providing healthcare professionals with a platform to report concerns regarding care and services. The system enables the collection and analysis of feedback, facilitating the identification of themes and trends that inform improvements in healthcare delivery. Since its implementation, Quasar has been adopted by all primary care practices within the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board, leading to a significant reduction in unwarranted variations in safety practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
