We are a small team of passionate gamers who are artistic and technical creators.

Our senior team are veterans of games magazines, business software and work with world class organisations in advertising, communication, research and healthcare.

We have a developed commercial software application, games for tabletop and have built up two businesses from scratch as well as overseen the development of multi-million-pound systems for retail, distribution, finance and healthcare.

Our team of professional collaborators includes students, a clinical medical consultant, researchers, pharmacist, graphic designers, musicians and craft makers.

I started playing video games in 1977 with early home black and white games consoles and wasted many summer holidays and weekends in the new video game arcades that I could find in the 80s. I was the first generation of video game players. I had a Commodore Vic20, Amstrad CPC 464, Sinclair Spectrum, and honed my skills playing GORF, Galaxians, Space Invaders and Daley Thompson’s Decathlon to mention but a few classic titles.

Ocean and Imagine were my dream companies to work for when I was a teenager.

Fast forward to the 90s and when I left university, I was lucky enough to get a full time job working for the famous Dennis Publishing founded by Felix Dennis. This gave me the chance to work on Computer Shopper, PC Pro and the legendary PC Zone Magazine where Charlie Brooker started out. Hello Charlie, :-D. It was a special time, and I was a cover disc editor compiling the CD ROMs that so many of you have enjoyed… Sorry for any technical problems. 😛

I got to go all over the world with finding amazing business and games titles for exclusive deals to have stuck on the front of our magazines. I was part of a team of mavericks that did this job and have gone on the be CEOs and legends.

I spent years drifting in out of games and movie reviews and got sucked into business software. I had to grow up having kids now.

In 2013 I could say goodbye to the world of E-Commerce and E-Business and working for someone else. Since that time, I’ve been working with my friend and colleague Dave Morley to build systems and software for the NHS, and some big-name companies.

Now we’re working on games. I’ve been working on tabletop and game design since 2016 learning a lot from the amazing Adam Carter-Groves who was the game-brains behind Line and Devices. Adam has since gone on to work for Auroch Digital and be a senior games designer at Team17. With his talent it was no surprise. Adam taught me a lot about games and instilled the fire and passion to make games and I never looked back.   

Dave has been busy building software tools to help us create some very cool immersive experiences for clients and we have been talking about making a video game for a very long time.

Finally, we are here, making our first video game. No excuses. We are getting on with it! At long last.

We have a small, dedicated team of game makers and despite all the challenges we are excited. We hope you will love playing our games and experiences and that you will join us on our journey to hit the big time with our first VR game called Horror in the Library VR Horror Escape.

Horror in the Library VR Game:

A thrilling and immersive multiplayer VR game based on the popular board game by Blue Donut Games. We are collaborating with Imersar Ltd, a leading VR company, to bring this game to life and scare you like never before.

Out sister company has been working with us to create card games, tabletop board games and Role Palying Games since 2021. It also has its own board game shop online and is expanding the range of games they offer.

We have spent the last 5 years developing a range of video game-based experiences for education, and business. During that time our sister company Blue Donut Games has been developing a range of acclaimed tabletop board games and card games.

We have now joined forces to create a new escape room challenge that will be initially launched for the Meta Quest VR platform. This will take players into the world of Horror in the Library where they can explorer the depths of the Mad Professor’s Interdimensional Library. They will be tested by puzzles, traps and terrorised by hideous monsters that will want to stop them from their progression to uncover the mysteries of the Mad Professor and his mysterious mansion.

This game is using a range of technologies we have created to support the development of immersive experiences we have created for our business customers.
